The app requests access to your browser location to determine your city and passes it to the OpenWeatherMap api https://openweathermap.org/api Your location is not saved by the server.
This then return's the temperature and weather conditions, eg: broken clouds, sunny etc.
The app will first request your location (city), if the request is denied or fails then the location will default to Melbourne, Australia.
By clicking on the city name you can search for locations by city name.
Click on the weather icon to see a full forecast.
Clicking the temperature will convert between metric and imperial.
As mentioned above your city will be collected if you allow loaction access, it is not stored on the server.
With that said, I feel you should know that this website is hosted in The Netherlands. This isn't inherently bad, but the Netherlands is part of the 'nine eye' spy network.
